Climbing Kilimanjaro can technically be done all year round, however, it is a bit more enjoyable outside of the rainy season. There are a few benefits to climbing during the rainy months like fewer people on the trails and this is a time when the summit is most likely to be snow capped adds an additional element of challenge to your adventure. With the appropriate clothing now a days, it makes it easier to be adventurous in any climate. So we will leave that part up to you and what your comfort level is.
To avoid the rain and large crowds try booking your trip in: January, March, June, and October.
To avoid rain, avoid booking in: April, May, or November.
The busiest months for climbs are: February, June, and September.
The clearest, warmest, and have the best view months are: December, January, and February.
The dryer but a little colder months are: June, July, August, and September.
