Mount Kilimanjaro definitely attracts most people to Tanzania, but most people choose to take advantage of the wildlife in the area and enjoy a safari as well. I mean, you came all this way. Tanzania is perfect for game viewing. So it would be a shame to come all this way and not see the beautiful animals. Tanzania has more than 25% of its land comprised of national parks, game reserves, and conservation areas.

Jande Adventures offers 1 to 6 days safari itineraries. We can work with you to enjoy a safari during your stay in Tanzania, before or after your climb, or in addition to a climb. Our safaris include sleeping accommodations strategically located in the heart of the SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK, NGORONGORO CRATER CONSERVATION AREA, MANYARA NATIONAL PARK, LAKE EYASI. You will tour in well maintained vehicles with pop up roofs for the best game viewing experience. Most can seat from 4-8 passengers. They do their very best to bring you close for an unforgettable encounter with Africa's majestic animals.

Safaris begin around 8 am on day one. Departure place depends on where you are starting from. For example, if you have finished a climb, you would start at the base of whatever climb you had just finished.

Dates for safaris are on a private schedule. Reservations for larger than 2 person groups need to be made within a month of your safari. Please call for any questions or to reserve your group's spot to view the majestic animals of Africa.

All climbs and safaris include:

Pick up and drop off to airport
2 nights hotel stay for before and after the climb
Group transport to and from trail head
Any National park permits, camping/hut fees, and rescue fees
Lead guide, cooks, and porters
Private toilet
Large two or three person tents
Sleeping pad
Mess tents, tables, chairs, and lanterns
Fresh nutritious meals
Heated water bottles to help warm up in your sleeping bag
All the tea, coffee, and water you can drink to stay hydrated

They do not include gratuity, first night meal at lodge, or any extra amenities like climbing poles or jackets.
